|Opportunity to take part in research|
Are you a supporter or carer for someone living with cancer?
Would you be interested in sharing your experiences of support during COVID-19?
My name is Sarah Churchward and I am one of the Evaluation Leads at Penny Brohn UK. Alongside my work at Penny Brohn UK, I am also studying for a Master of Research (MRes) in Health & Wellbeing at the University of Bristol. For my dissertation I am taking an in-depth look at the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on support for supporters (carers) of adults living with cancer.
I am hoping to talk to supporters who have accessed Penny Brohn UK’s online services over the past year, and also those who have not (but their loved one has). This work is being carried out separately from my work at Penny Brohn UK but the findings will be shared with them.
I hope that the findings from this study will help improve understanding of the support needs and experiences of cancer carers.
If you agree to take part, the interview would be held on Zoom (although could be done over the phone if you prefer), at a time that suits you, and would last approximately one hour. If you are living with cancer and have a supporter or carer, please help by encouraging them to take part. Please get in touch at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information. Email Sarah
