The resilience room sessions will resume from Mon 13th Sept and we have guest speaker Kris Hallenga, Author of The Sunday Times Top Ten Bestseller “How to Glitter a Turd“. Kris very kindly signed a special run of 20 copies of her book while she was with us at the Penny Brohn Hub this week – get your copy from our online shop while stocks last!

|Wellbeing Day at the National Centre|

The day is open to anyone affected by cancer and is your opportunity to join us for a programme of restorative and relaxing group sessions led by our wellbeing team. There will also be plenty of time to explore our beautiful gardens, connect with others and enjoy a delicious and nutritious lunch fresh from our own kitchen.

|Eurythmy Movement Therapy (Relaxation Room)|
|Mon 6th Sept – 2pm – Online Session|
Rebecca Paten from Eurythmy Movement Therapy will demonstrate Eurythmy, movement therapy. Rebecca will show us how gentle Eurythmy movements that are linked to the sounds of speech can help soothe us, reconnect us with our body and help us find our inner voice, leaving us feeling calm and grounded.
This session replaces the Monday relaxation room session. Please complete the Zoom booking form to register on this session.
|Tues 7th Sept – 2pm – Online Session|
Roz and Michele will lead a restful and restorative experiential session using relaxation and visualisation techniques for self healing. They will be thrilled to answer questions. No experience is necessary!

|Eating Well with Cancer|
|Tues 7th Sept – 3pm – Online Session|
An introductory session that looks at the evidence for the role of diet and nutrition in cancer and recommendations for eating well with a cancer diagnosis.
Suitable for those looking for an introduction to the topic, or those new to the Penny Brohn UK approach to healthy eating with cancer.
|Nutrition Know How Q&A|
|Weds 8th Sept – 11am – Online Session|
A Q&A session led by Victoria and Kim on the topics of dairy, fasting, probiotics, Vitamin D and phytoestrogen. There will be an opportunity during the session for guests to ask questions related to the above topics. Book Now
