Wellbeing Day at the National Centre

Following the success of our first Wellbeing Day in July, we are delighted to offer another Wellbeing Day at our lovely National Centre in Pill, near Bristol. The day is open to anyone affected by cancer and is your opportunity to join us for a programme of restorative and relaxing group sessions led by our wellbeing team. There will also be plenty of time to explore our beautiful gardens, connect with others and enjoy a delicious and nutritious lunch fresh from our own kitchen. Register Now

Prostate Cancer and the Benefits of Physical Activity Physical Activity

This evidence-based session will discuss the benefits of physical activity, how much is recommended for your individual situation, and the intensity to aim for. Liz Brown MSc MCSP Physiotherapist, Alma Physiotherapy will provide top tips on returning to movement after surgery.

Liz is a sports and pelvic health physiotherapist with a passion for enabling people to do what they love again. Small steps make a huge difference over time. In this talk, you’ll learn a little about your anatomy so you can understand healing times, your fascia and why movement is so integral to your recovery. We’ll go through what is ‘safe’, and you’ll have the knowledge to make your own decisions on what movement is appropriate for you and why. Register Now
