Wednesday 1st September 14:00-15:30 Backwell&Nailsea Support Group
Join the lovely volunteers at Backwell WI Hall on Wednesday 1st September 14:00-15:30 for their monthly support group. This month they have a guest speaker Mrs Gina Merrett-Smith, and she is going to be showing a presentation of the Life of David Jean. If you would like to attend this group, please contact Beverley Cook who runs this group. Her contact number is 01275 463215 but only call after 6pm.
Wednesday 8th September Virtual Arts&Crafts 10:30-13:00
Virtual Arts&Crafts this month we will either be making cards, or canvas painting. This will depend on the amount of uptake we get, as we will only run the virtual session if we have enough numbers. There will be a cost of £5 for the session, and all materials will be prepared and brought to you before the session. Please book on to request a space.
Wednesday 8th September 19:30-21:00 Virtual Games Night
Join us for a Virtual Games night on Wednesday 8th September via Microsoft Teams. It will be from 19:30-21:00 and we will have lots of different games that include Bingo, Wacky Words, General Knowledge, Flags and Books&Authors. There will be prizes to be won!! Please request to join the Games Night and the link will be sent closer to the time.
Monday 13th September Carers Pub Lunch 12PM
The Carers Pub lunch this month will be at the Windmill in Portishead, BS20 6JZ. There are 8 spaces on this lunch, so please book a space quickly if you are interested. We will be meeting at 12PM in the car park 
We are organising the lunch, but you will be required to pay for yourself.
Tuesday 21st September Carers Coffee Morning/Drop in at Kenn Village Hall 10:00-14:00
Please join us at Kenn Village Hall, Clevedon for our monthly Carers Coffee Morning. Please be aware loved ones are welcome if you would like to bring them. We are also going to incorporate the monthly drop in’s to this session, so if you would like to come with any questions regarding your caring role that you would like advice/support with we are here to help! The session will run from 10:00-14:00.
Monday 27th August Carers Walk&Talk Gordano Round
We will meet at the Black Horse Pub, Clapton-In-Gordano, BS20 7RH at 10:30 which is the where the start of the walk begins. It is then a 5 mile round trip walk, and we will then finish back at the Black Horse Pub. And then if people would like to, we can then stop in the pub for lunch The walks are all weather dependent, especially as we now move into Autumn/Winter.
Tuesday 28th September Arts&Crafts at Kenn Village Hall 10:30AM
This month’s Arts&Crafts activity is creative canvases, this is lots of different designs on canvases- mixing paints, materials and different items together to finish with a lovely picture. The session will start at 10:30AM, we will then provide a lunch between 13:00-14:00 and then the session will continue. You can stay for as long as you like. If we have a very high demand, we will have to split into 2 sessions an AM and PM but we will let everyone know if that happens. There is a £10 payment solely goes to Sandie who runs the group, for her time and all of the materials. This group is always so popular so please book on as Sandie will also need to buy all the canvases for the right amount of people. As always the session will run from Kenn Village Hall in Clevedon.
Tuesday 5th October Virtual Book Club @ 19:30
This month we will be discussing ‘’All the Light we Cannot see by Anthony Doeer’’. Please book on to the session, as we will be able to provide a free copy of the book to you if we have enough. It will start at 19:30 and last for one hour.
