A cutting-edge art installation showcasing renewable energy, science, technology and engineering is coming to Weston-super-Mare next summer.

Seven years on from Banksy’s Dismaland, the Tropicana will host SEE MONSTER – enhancing the town’s growing reputation as an arts and culture hotspot.

Weston is just one of 10 locations taking part in the nationwide UNBOXED: Creativity in the UK project and it is expected to bring hundreds of thousands of visitors to the town.

This afternoon (Friday), we had a VIP visitor to the area.

Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal visited The Food WorksSW food and drink centre to open it officially and see the innovative work going on there.

As Covid cases rise, we ask you to do what you can to keep yourself and those around you safe, especially as we head into the school holidays next week.
