The Joy of Painting

Joan likes to paint pictures of the places where she likes to be and so often paints pictures from the Edwardian era. This has been especially relaxing for her during the pandemic, as it takes her away from any stress. Joan was a member of Terry Pegs’ art group at Dauncey’s Hotel before it closed down. Terry was a good teacher but sadly is no longer with us. Joan says: “I have been lucky to have had a few exhibitions the last few years. So, painting really is a joy”
