This week’s talk is by Cllr Mike Bell a Liberal Democrat Member of North Somerset Council for the Weston-super-Mare Central Ward, where we are based. He is a member of the Executive that carries out functions that are not the responsibility of any other part of the Council. He is the Deputy Leader of the Council and the Executive Member for Adult Services, Health and Housing, with the areas of responsibility of: adult social care; Health and Wellbeing Board; public health and regulatory services; NHS, health and liaison; emergency management; and housing solutions, private sector housing and unauthorised encampments.

The BME Network is a Charity that has been running for 15 years. Based in Weston-super-Mare, it supports Black & Minority Ethnic Communities in all parts of North Somerset.
